Born and grew up in Hong Kong, Brian came to England in 2010 to pursue his further and higher education in music, a hobby of his which has been central to his daily life since an early age. During his time at King's College London (KCL), not only was he an active orchestral percussion player, he was a devoted concerts producer as well. In his first year at univerisity he established a chamber group (Ensemble Novus) and a symphony orchestra (King's Philharmonic) with which he organised a number of concerts featuring Mahler's music (his all-time favourite composer!). He also served as Orchestra Manager with the Symphony Orchestra at King's (KCLSO), a position which really sparked and intensified his love for administering orchestras and arts organisations.

Before joining Morgensterns as a Management Assistant, he worked as a Summer Intern at Premiere Performances of Hong Kong where he worked with an international team to organise concerts for high-profile artists. In addition, during Sep/Oct 2014 he was a volunteer assistant to the Stage Manager and the Education department with the London Philharmonic Orchestra. Brian has recently been appointed to be administrator with the Beethoven Piano Society of Europe where his main duties include promoting, expanding and developing the society with a group of international performers and scholars.

Apart from being an arts/orchestral administrator, Brian is also a composer/arranger. He studied with Dr. Rob Keeley at KCL where he composed for Lontano Ensemble. He enjoys writing solo and chamber pieces and his recent projects include an arrangement of Mahler's Symphony No. 2 ('Resurrection') for chamber orchestra.

During 2013 - 15, Brian was a member of the Young Musicians Symphony Orchestra where he worked with such conductors as John Wilson and James Blair.
