About us

Ulysses Symphony Orchestra was estabilished in 2015 (summer) by Cathal Garvey, Andrea Broughton and Brian Chui. It consists of current and ex- professionals, conservatoire graduates and students, and high music amateurs. In conjunction with the Cure Parkinson's Trust, the orchestra played its inaugural concert in October, 2015 with an exhilarating programme of Shostakovich's Cello Concerto No. 1 and Mahler's Symphony No. 9.
