King's Philharmonic Orchestra

The King’s Philharmonic, and especially the young Bertram Yap, is an orchestra I will be keeping an eye out for."       – Lewis Wolstanholme, London

About us

King’s Philharmonic was established in 2012 by Bertram Yap and Brian Chui with a vision to tackle large scale orchestral works from the late Romantic era with a group of young, talented and devoted musicians around London and the UK.

Based in King's College London, the orchestra meets several times a year to present concerts and to provide accompaniment for various events. If would like play with the KPO, please use the link on the left.

KPO and our Musical Director, Bertram Yap, will be joined by such distinguished conductors as Jonathan Lo and Stephen Lam in the coming season to present concerts featuring works by Mahler, Shostakovich, Stravinsky, Ravel, Poulenc and a new work by Rob Keeley.
